WHY WE GIVE BACK
Parker Young Construction is committed to pouring resources, time and man-power into making this world a better place. Whether it's a small community project or a national challenge to serve those in need - we are up for the cause. Our community engagement team host community service related events each month for any employee interested. Recently, Parker Young participated in National Earth Day by partnering with Habitat for Humanity, in addition to a charity 5K run/walk hosted to bring more awareness to research and it's importance in today's society.
The commitment to serve the community goes beyond your normal service projects. Our team makes it a point to find different outlets to serve and give back in unique ways. Primrose's Touch-A-Truck event and Hillside's Field Day are two signature events that Parker Young has been participating in for years. The Touch-A-Truck event is an interactive experience for the small children of the Primrose School of Peachtree Corners. This fun- filled day consist of a variety of trucks and automobiles that come to the school to give students the opportunity to touch, learn about and even sit inside of the various vehicles. Hillside's Field Day allows the youth to interact with each other in a much larger, sometimes much more competitive setting. They are able to enjoy BBQ, prizes and even a t-shirt design contest.
